World Vision International is a child focused Christian humanitarian and development organization.We seek to improve the quality of life of children and the communities in which they live. We are currently seeking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions within Swaziland:

 

  1. Accountability, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer x 4

The Accountability. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (A.M&E) is responsible for managing operations of the humanitarian accountability mechanisms and the M&E system in the Response projects to support and ensure projects’ adherence to set standards..The incumbent will contribute toward the relevance effectiveness and efficiency of Response programming in World Vision Swaziland. Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with two years’ experience working in similar or related roles

 

  1. Humanitarian Accountability Assistant X 2

 

To support the implementation of the humanitarian accountability initiatives.The job entails supporting the establishment and management of the community hotline. Log and analyse calls: and provide information and feedback to the clients. The Incumbent will also be expected to channel the issues raised through the hotline to the relevant offices. Appiicants should have at least a Diploma in Information Management Social Sciences with good communication skills and with more than one year experience in customer service manning a busy switchboard.

 

  1. Food For Assets (FFA) Technlcal Specialist X 2

The FFA Technical Specialist will provide the technical expertise needed for the creation of community assets.The incumbent will monitor. supervise and recommend ways to ensure quality and sustainable community assets are created. The FFA Technical Specialist will work closely with the relevant Governments structures and offices. and Area Development Program to ensure there is continuity and sustained use of the assets when the FFA project ends. The incumbent is also expected to ensure there is integration of FFA activities with other projects in the area especially other Food Security and Livelihoods projects.Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in natural resource management. agricultural extension or agricultural engineering with relevant experience working in the rural areas implementing FFA/Food for Work community projects.

 

  1. Field Monitor x 4

The Field Monitor is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient monitoring of the delivery. distribution. documentation and field level reporting associated with food assistance project. The incumbent is expected to work hand with the Relief Committees (RCs) to ensure implementation of the Community Based Targeting and Distribution within the respective FDPs. All these must be done while meeting the WV and USAlD/FFP commodity management standards. Applicants should have at least Diploma or Bachelor degree in Community Development or related discipline.

 

Note:Grants Positions are field based and will require considerable amount of travel. Due to the nature of the organization’s work with children. The selected candidates will be appointed subject to police clearance.

  2. Attend and participate in daily devotional meetings and weekly chapel
  3. Committed and practicing Christian
