An International clothing and Automotive fastening products manufacturer seeks to employ a Mechanical Engineer reporting to the Factory Manager. This is a full-time position based at the Swaziland Factory.

Job Purpose:

To provide engineering expertise to the organization whilst taking responsibility for all factory projects, machine parts management and essential services and utilities. The salary for this position will be calculated on a Cost-to-Company basis and will be market-related / aligned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years working experience in a similar position
  • Grade 12
  • B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Valid driver’s licence

Additional, Advantageous Qualifications:

  • Production related diploma or degree


Knowledge Required:

  • Project management
  • Industrial electricity processes and applications
  • Working knowledge of general mechanics, mechanical applications, mechatronics and instrumentation
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Project
  • Technical drawing and familiarity with CAD software
  • Problem-solving ability
  • General engineering fabrication from concept design to manufacture and implementation
  • Hands-on ability to fault-find and repair general electro-mechanical and automation machinery and equipment
  • Hands-on ability to work with PLC controlled electrical equipment
